If you’re wondering, “Are the Strickland family Christmas lights going ahead this year?”, we can confirm that the display has undergone a dramatic transformation. In light of the challenges faced last year, the Stricklands have chosen to scale back significantly, focusing instead on a modest Grinch-themed display.
Although the display has been significantly scaled back this year, the Strickland family told Christmas Light Search, 'Whilst our ‘display’ is maybe 1% of previous years, it seems people are still wanting to support us by showing up.'
Last year’s display was nothing short of magical, featuring a movie projector, giant inflatables, a Wiggle car photo booth, firework LED lights, countless Christmas trees, Santa fishing, music, and much more. However, this year’s scaled-down approach aims to balance spreading Christmas cheer with being mindful of the needs of their neighbors.
