Christmas is nearly here, and our office elves have been busy preparing a list of the top Christmas events and things to do around Brisbane. From Christmas circus acrobats to merry moonlight movies to Lego Wonderlands, we’ve got something for everyone!
Moonlight Outdoor Cinema
When: Christmas movies showing from 4 – 23 December 2024, 7.15pm

Enjoy classic Christmas movies under the stars! There are G-rated movies like Elf and The Muppet Christmas Carol, PG-rated favourites including Home Alone and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and the M-rated classics Love Actually and The Holiday. There’s also a bunch of other movies showing until 16 February 2025. Pass the popcorn and the candy canes, please!
Christmas Lego Window Displays
When: 15 November – 5 January 2024, 7.00am – 11.00pm
Where: Uptown Queen Street Mall, Brisbane

What happens when you merge Christmas, Uptown Queen Street Mall, and Lego? You get the best and most brilliant Christmas window displays! The Lego displays tell the visual story of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, Winter Wonderland, and the Festive Postcard — adored by young and old (and even by Grinches!). Learn more.
The Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols
When: Saturday, 7 December 2024. Preshow entertainment from 6.00pm. Main show 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
Where: Riverstage, City Botanic Gardens, Brisbane

This year’s Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols has a star-studded entertainment lineup including Conrad Sewell and the Jingle Belles. The Auslan-friendly event features food stalls galore, free live streaming in Victoria Park, fireworks, and even an appearance by Santa!
Christmas Putt Putt Golf
When: Friday, 8 November 2024 to Thursday, 2 January 2025

South Bank Christmas Maze

Circus Fun House - Christmas Edition Show
