Drop in on any day in the evening to view two LED Christmas light displays. Festive light displays will illuminate the front lawn of the City of Melville Civic Centre in Booragoon (10 Almondbury Road) and the foreshore at Apex Reserve (Cnr Canning Highway & The Esplanade), Mount Pleasant. The ongoing family-friendly displays will feature various LED elements lighting up each evening for the community to enjoy in their own time. Civic Centre: LED photo frames of a reindeer, teddy bear and elf, as well as a light-up archway and giant wrapped gift will be set up on the lawn at the centre's front entrance. Apex reserve: baubles, a Christmas tree and a large LED sign will shimmer with a subtle ‘Merry Christmas’ to visitors passing over Canning Bridge and along the river’s foreshore. You do not need to book or get tickets for this display. Just turn up! Please enjoy the displays in a safe manner and supervise children.
